Pain that travels from the lower back into the buttock or leg. Your chiropractor assesses the likely cause and plans care around how you present.
Back pain can have many causes, including stiff or restricted joints, tight muscles and everyday habits such as long periods of sitting. Michelle starts with a detailed assessment of your history and how your spine and joints move, so your care is based on what is going on for you.
Care may include hands-on joint treatment, muscle work, stretches and exercise advice, with the aim of supporting your movement between visits. If your assessment suggests you may need further investigation, Michelle will explain this and advise on next steps.
